Central midfield is the deepest wonderkid pool in FC 27, and the position where young players get on the pitch soonest. Midfielders are on the ball constantly, so even a teenager can put together good match ratings in a rotated side, and those ratings feed straight into his potential.

Decide what job you are hiring for before you bid. A defensive midfielder needs interceptions, stamina and strength; a box-to-box CM wants passing, vision and the work rate to cover both boxes. Two players with the same overall can fit your system very differently, so open the attributes first.
