FC 27 wonderkids: the best young players in career mode

Every player aged 21 or under in the FC 27 rosters, ranked by potential.

In career mode a wonderkid is a player aged 21 or under with a potential rating of 80 or more. Potential is a ceiling, not a promise: FC 27 adjusts it as the seasons go by, nudging it up for youngsters who play well and often and letting it drift down for the ones who sit in the stands. That is why two saves that sign the same teenager can end up with very different players.

This list ranks every under-21 by potential, then by current overall. The names at the top are the obvious picks and cost a fortune from day one. The real value tends to sit further down, where a 68-rated 19-year-old with 85 potential costs a fraction of a ready-made star. Use the position lists to fill a specific gap, or the cheap list if the board left you a small budget.

Once you have signed them, development is about minutes. Start them in the cups and against weaker sides, give them a development plan for the position you want them in, and loan them out if they would not play for you. Then write down their overall at the end of every season: it is the only way to tell which signings are growing and which have stalled.

This list holds 50 players, all of them with potential 80 or more, and their average age is 19.9. Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) has the highest ceiling at 95. Francesco Camarda has the most room to grow: 66 now, 87 potential.
