How to play the football grid
- Each row and each column is a category: a club the player was at (in any FIFA 15 to EA FC 27 career mode), his nation, the league he plays in in FC 27, his position, or a rating.
- Tap a square, type a footballer who fits both its row and its column, and pick him from the list.
- You have nine guesses for nine squares. A wrong answer still uses a guess, and each footballer counts once.
- Finished? Copy your result (no spoilers, just right and wrong) and send the link: whoever opens it gets the same grid.
- Playing with someone? Switch to 2 players for tic-tac-toe with a turn timer, or connect your Twitch chat and let your viewers fill the grid.
Questions
- When does a new grid come out?
- Every day at midnight, Spanish time. Grid #1 came out on 8 November 2026; the earlier ones stay playable from the list next to the grid.
- Which footballers count?
- Anyone rated 75 or more in some edition from FIFA 15 to EA FC 27, plus FC 27’s best young prospects. “Played for” means he was in that club’s squad in the career mode of at least one of those games.
- Can I play against a friend?
- Yes: the 2 players mode is football tic-tac-toe on one screen, with a 30 or 60 second turn timer. Copy the link and you get the same grid on two screens too.
- Is it free?
- Yes, with no account. It is part of Career Mode, the free tracker for your FIFA and EA FC career mode saves.
