Career mode tracker apps compared

As of November 2026: where each tracker runs, how it gets your squad and what it costs, so you can pick the one that fits your save. We make one of them, Career Mode, and have tried to be fair to the rest.

Try Career Mode — free

Free to start. No spreadsheet. Works in your browser.

Which career mode tracker should you use?

It depends on where you play and how much you want to type. On PC, CMTracker’s desktop app can sync your career save as you play. On iPhone, the Career Mode Tracker app by Ivo Teixeira is a long-running option with manager, player, national-team and tournament careers. FC Tools Hub suits players who already use its FC tools. A spreadsheet is free and endlessly flexible, but every number is typed by hand. Career Mode (careermode.xyz), which we make, is free for two manager saves and one player save, runs in any browser and as an iPhone app, loads real squads for 750+ clubs from FIFA 15 to FC 27, is written in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and can be used from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.

Each one in a paragraph

CMTracker →

A web platform for career mode saves with an FC 27 database, translated into more than ten languages. Its standout is Career Mode Tracker LIVE, a Windows app in beta that uploads your PC save file as the game writes it, so the squad and season update without typing. Free accounts wait between uploads; the paid PRO and MAX plans don’t.

Career Mode Tracker (iOS) →

A long-running iPhone and iPad app by Ivo Teixeira, with manager, player, national-team and tournament careers, a trophy cabinet, league tables and player databases up to FC 27. It is free to download, with ads and in-app subscriptions.

FC Tools Hub

A site of tools for EA FC players (a player database, squad files, challenges) that added a Career Mode Tracker in July 2025, with a trophy room and a fixtures calendar. Its public changelog covers FC 24 to FC 26, so check the site for FC 27. A good fit if you already use its other tools.

A spreadsheet →

Free, private and as flexible as you want, which is why most careers start in Excel or Google Sheets. The cost is time: every rating, fee and goal is typed by hand, and growth graphs and records need formulas you build yourself.

Career Mode (ours) →

A tracker you fill in as you play: pick your club and its real squad loads (750+ clubs, FIFA 15 to FC 27), then add matches, transfers and seasons in about a minute each. It runs in any browser and as an iPhone app, in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini can log a match from a screenshot. It doesn’t sync console saves; on PC, Pro can build the squad from the save file (beta).

How to choose

  1. Where do you play?

Only a PC save sits on your own computer, so only on PC can an app read it for you, as CMTracker’s sync does. On PlayStation or Xbox, whichever tracker you pick, you log what happens yourself.

  2. Where will you log?

Next to the console, a phone is quickest; at a desk, a browser or a spreadsheet. If you want both, pick one that keeps the save in an account rather than on one device.

  3. What do you want back?

A spreadsheet holds what you type. A tracker turns the same numbers into growth graphs, records, a trophy cabinet and cards to share. Try two with a few matches each before you commit a long save.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best career mode tracker app?

There isn’t one best for everyone. For a PC save synced automatically, CMTracker. For an iPhone-only app with many kinds of career, Career Mode Tracker. For logging as you play on any platform, in English, Spanish or Portuguese, with real squads and an AI assistant, Career Mode, which we make. For total control at no cost, a spreadsheet.

Can a tracker read my career mode save automatically?

Only on PC, where the save file is on your computer: CMTracker’s Windows app uploads it as you play (beta), and Career Mode Pro can build your squad from it (beta, read on your device). Console saves stay on the console, so on PlayStation and Xbox you log the save yourself, whichever tracker you use.

Is there a free career mode tracker?

Yes. A spreadsheet costs nothing, Career Mode is free for two manager saves and one player save, CMTracker has a free account next to its paid plans, and the Career Mode Tracker iOS app is free to download, with ads and in-app purchases.

Which career mode trackers work in Spanish or Portuguese?

CMTracker’s site is translated into more than ten languages, Spanish and Portuguese among them, and the Career Mode Tracker iOS app lists both. Career Mode is written in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, from the app to its guides and player lists.

Which career mode trackers have an iPhone app?

Career Mode Tracker by Ivo Teixeira, and Career Mode, whose iPhone app came out on 30 October 2026. CMTracker also has an iPhone app for its FC 27 database.

Is this comparison fair?

We make Career Mode, so read it with that in mind. What it says about the others comes from their own websites, App Store listings and changelogs as of November 2026; where we couldn’t confirm something, we left it out.
